Your Town Art started with a few sketches of our hometown of Marietta, Georgia. I usually carry a small sketchbook when I travel. One of my sisters suggested we make note cards of some local scenes and participate in a neighborhood art festival called the Cherokee Heights Art Festival. We had a lot of fun and sold a lot of cards to old and new friends who love our hometown. I like sketches, watercolors, and drawings that evoke a smile and a warm memory. There is a magic in some places. We hope to capture that for you.

Let us know if you know a special scene or place in your hometown. Send us your town's name and maybe the place you want to keep in your heart. In our hometown, we have a town square. There is a fountain there. Children have dipped their hands in it for generations. It is often a place for a special date, family pictures, wedding pictures after a courthouse marriage, and a proposal. Those places are magic. And they are everywhere.
